Muņozonian USA President excited to come for the Centenary celebration

''As early as October this year, my wife and I have already purchased our tickets for our trip back to CLSU for its Centennial celebration on April 12, 2007.'' This was what Mr. Leo Abenes, retired professor of the California State University and current President of the Muņozonian USA, said during his CLSU visit last December 11.

Mr. Abenes was born in CLSU. His father was a former English professor in the University. He is also an alumnus of the University, graduating as cum laude. He was also the Editor-in-Chief of the 1969 Golden Grain.

In his message at the flag raising ceremony, he couldn't help but recount his beautiful memories and unforgettable experiences in the university. ''There is no other place on earth that I'd rather be than at CLSU''. He also added, ''I will never get tired of returning to my homeland especially to CLSU''.

The Muņozonian USA is a big organization of former residents of Muņoz.
