Dr. Zenaida M. Serna, Director of the CLSU Alumni Relations Office was adjudged one of “Ten Outstanding Movers of the Philippines (TOMP), Heroes for the Environment”.

She was conferred the award on the occasion of the SAVE ME Movement (Students’ Actions Vital to the Environment and Mother Earth Movement) 19th year Anniversary Celebration and 4th National Convention on January 27-29, 2012 at Boracay Ecovillage Resort and Training Center, Boracay, Malay, Aklan.

The TOMP aims to inspire and motivate the Movers to proactively engage issues on the environment on personal and professional levels.

The award bestows selfless and exemplary recognition of the contribution of the Movers for the realization of the Movement’s vision, mission, goals and objectives.

Dr. Serna is an exemplary member of the SAVE ME Movement.
