CVSM alumnus lands 9th place in 2009 Veterinary Examination

A fresh graduate of the College of Veterinary Science and Medicine, Cindy D. Balmelero, landed No. 9 in the August 2009 Veterinary Licensure Examination.

She led 20 other successful examinees from the university. CLSU registered 45.65% passing rate. The national passing percentage was 27.5.

According to Dr. Romeo S. Gundran, CVSM dean, this year’s performance of veterinary graduates has once again placed CLSU as among the top performing schools in the country.

The new veterinarians are: Rudio G. Abulencia, Maria Victoria M. Adion, Roma DC. Ador Dionisio, Cyril P. Baltazar, Glenn D. Bonete, Rufino V. Borjal, Jr., Marc Jerome G. Buco, Mary Ann Grace M. Cudal, Ronald Ray R. Dungca, Chelette P. Francisco, Joyce P. Gancena, April Corazon M. Garcia, Alexander V. Luzon, Manolo D. Manantan, Shierlene Rose P. Quiamco, Kenneth V. Sacdalan, Vernadette SP. Sanidad, Rodolfo M. Tinio, Jr., Lilian B. Toledana and Marvin A. Villanueva.

Meanwhile, another CLSU alumnus, Benedict Barayuga landed No. 1 in the 2009 Licensure Examination for Teachers (Secondary Level).
