CLSU HOLDS 2004 ANNUAL ALUMNI HOMECOMING

CLSU graduates and friends, students and visitors are expected to come and get together here at the Central Luzon State University for the 2004 Grand Alumni Homecoming in February 6 - 7, 2004. The theme of this year's homecoming is "CLSUAAI. . In partnership with our Alma Mater in Her Quest for Excellence in Instruction, Research and Sustainable Rural and Agricultural Development".

As early as 6 AM of February 6 is the Diana and at 8 AM is the blessing and opening of the Saulong Park, which will make the homecoming doubly memorable. Dir. Leodegario A. Bartolome, past president of the CLSUAAI will give the commemoration message while Damaso C. Tolentino a classmate of the CLSU student hero, Vivencio Saulog will give the response.

From the Saulong Park after the coffee break, alumni, friends, and guests will be toured in the campus. The places lined up to be visited are the College of Fisheries, Freshwater Aquaculture Center and BFAR; Philippine Carabao Center, Bureau of Post Harvest Research and Extension and Phil-Sino Center. In the evening, the international alumni, CLSU service and achievement awardees and class jubilarians (Batch of '54, '64, '74, '84 and '94) will be honored at the Alumni Center Multipurpose Hall. They will be entertained by a repertoire of dances to be performed by the CLSU Student Cultural Society. The music will be provided by the College of Education Magnificent Combo.

The next day, February 7, the registration starts at 7 AM. The CLSU AAI Annual General Assembly Meeting and election of officers will take place at 9 AM and this will be followed by the annual homecoming and recognition program, cultural presentation and socialization.

This year's homecoming is jointly hosted by CLSU's College of Business Administration headed by Dean Danilo Castro and the College of Education headed by Dean Danilo G. Tan.
