CLSU Alumni Association confers membership to Senator Trillanes

Hon. Senator Antonio "Sonny" F. Trillanes IV of the Upper House of Congress will be conferred honorary membership to the CLSU Alumni Association, Inc. (CLSUAAI) for his unwavering services and program of assistance to the Filipino people; and, as one of the leading legislators who had served his country as a first-term senator, yet authored 19 bills passed into law garnering fourth rank in number of principally authored bills in the 14th Congress specifically in the areas of Governance and Civil Service Reforms, Defense and Security and especially on Poverty Alleviation, the "Magna Carta for the Poor," which ensures their right to employment, food and food assistance, free quality education, shelter, free health services and medicines.

For the meritorious services rendered to his country, he has been awarded a total of 23 assorted merit medals, campaign ribbons and badges.

And for being a government legislative official of the Republic of the Philippines who has consistently shown direct interest in the affairs of the CLSU Alumni Association and their Alma Mater located at the Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija where he proudly identifies himself as a Novo Ecijano by affinity.

Conferment rites will be on April 15, 2011 on the occasion of the Annual Commencement Exercises held at the Graduation Site, CLSU Compound, Science City of Munoz, Nueva Ecija.
