The three-colored C-shaped arrows on the left side of the CLSU official seal represent the transformation of the institution from a lowly farm school (CLAS) into a college (CLAC) and thereafter into a comprehensive university (CLSU) that it is today. The three Cs also depict the many challenges that the school faced during its 100 years of existence as it continuously strives for quality and excellence in tertiary and graduate education in agricultural education and related fields.

The Colors
The dark green outer C-shaped arrow represents the humble beginnings of a farm school at the heart of Central Luzon, Philippines way back in 1907. Said school became the forerunner of other agricultural schools in the country. The graduates of Central Luzon Agricultural School were noted for their resilience, hard work and perseverance.
The light green middle C-shaped arrow depicts the conversion of the farm school into a college. Central Luzon Agricultural College then started to offer tertiary courses in Agricultural Education and related fields. It became one of the prominent institutions of higher learning not only in the Philippines but in other Asian countries as well.
The innermost C-shaped arrow in yellow color represents the Central Luzon State University, one of the premier institutions of higher learning in the country today. Yellow symbolizes the
