Engr. Isidro R. Villaflor (BSAEn 59) was designated as Activity Leader of the study entitled Field Verification of the No Tillage Technique in Irrigated Rice Production from January December 2009. His designation was duly signed by Atty. Ronilo A. Beronio, Executive Director, PhilRice.
Beforehand, Engr. Villaflor was contracted as Technology Expert on the No Tillage Technology from November 2008 to March 2009 by the Department of Agrarian Reform, City of San Fernando, Pampanga. DAR was represented by Mr. Felipe A. Simon, Provincial Agrarian Reform Officer II DAR North, Nueva Ecija Provincial Office.
Sid as peers and friends call him was Alumni President in 1984-1986 and 1990-1992.
The CLSUAAI Alumni Bulletin was first published in July 1984. The editorial staff was composed of Aurora Salamat-Paderes (HS 68, BS 70, Ph.D. 72) as editor, Victorino Mones (HS 55, BSAEn 60) and Mila Salamat-Ringor (HS 57, BS 61, MS 80) as associate editors. Advisers were Isidro Villaflor (BSAEn 59) Edgar Ricamonte (AAE 60, BSAE 62) and Casimiro M. Arceo (BSAEd).
The first Mid-year Commencement Exercises was held on November 23, 1991 at the University Gymnasium during the term of Dr. Eliseo L. Ruiz as CLSU President and Dr. Romeo L. Saplaco as Vice President for Academic Affairs. The guest of honor and commencement speaker was Engr. Isidro Villaflor, then President of the CLSU Alumni Association and incumbent Provincial Board Member of Nueva Ecija.
