We make Filipinos proud to be Filipinos'', goes the Parangal ng Bayan Foundation's motto, a reason why we also take pride in giving a toast to this couple who have reaped awards for their years of hard work in the sphere of research and development.

Dr. Teotimo M. Aganon (BSA`75), Professor of Entomology and Director of Research was conferred Outstanding Achiever in Agriculture. On the other hand, Dr. Clarita Pagaduan - Aganon (BSA`76), Professor of Soil Science and Director of Ramon Magsaysay Center for Agricultural Resources and Environmental Studies (RM-CARES) was Outstanding Achiever in Science and Technology.

The couple was among the nine awardees who were recognized for their significant and notable contributions in the enrichment and upliftment of the lives of the Filipino people.

The award was given during the Annual Parangal ng Bayan and National Consumers excellence Program held last April 2, 2005 at RCBC Plaza, Makati City.
