CLSU - CBAA yields 14 CPAs; ranks among Top Accounting

Schools Fourteen Certified Public Accountants were produced by the Central Luzon State University proving once more the institution's consistency in producing topnotch professionals.

According to Dr. Danilo S. Castro, Dean of the CLSU College of Business Administration and Accountancy (CBAA), CLSU garnered a 51.58% passing percentage which was much higher than the National Passing Percentage of 23.78%. Thus, the University ranked 3 rd among the Top Performing Schools with Accountancy Program nationwide ( with 26 to 50 examinees).

A Certificate of Recognition was awarded by the Board of Accountancy of the Philippine Regulation Commission to CLSU during the oathtaking ceremonies held at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) last June 22, 2005.

The 14 new CPA's out of 27, are as follows: Marilou V. Andaya, Lurence V. Carace, Grace A. Corpuz, Mayulah C. Eduardo, Ronald C. Espanto, Michael DC. Gatchalian, Ruby-Ann E. Gatchula, Marieul G. Judan, Zepol Leunam V. Lopez, Imelda A. Pagaduan, Aileen V. Santos, Rubie Ann J. Sarmiento, Rudzen C. Selispora, and Hilbert A. Villanueva.

A testimonial luncheon was tendered in honor of the new CPA's at the CBAA Mini-Theater, last June 29.
