CLSU register 53% passing in AgEn Board Exam; one lands in 3rd place

Ten out of 19 CLSU BSAgEn graduates passed the Licensure Examination for Agricultural Engineers given by the Board of Agricultural Engineering-Professional Regulation Commission in Manila last August 29, 30 and 31. This gave the University a 53% passing rate which is higher than the national passing rate of 45%. This also placed CLSU in the 6th rank among 18 schools with 10 or more examinees, said Dr. Ireneo Agulto, CEn dean.

Almar M. Villota of Licaong, Science City of Muņoz who graduated in 2005, placed third among the Top 10 examinees. She had a rating of 78.65%.

Other successful CLSU examinees were: Rhea P. Batallones, Katherine M. Corpuz, Jonathan V. Fabula. Jenny U. Gabor, Domingo DR. Miranda, Glenn P. Pascual, Janice D. Pidlaoan, Darious G. Ramos, and Christian R. Vargas.

The new agricultural engineers took their oath before the Board last October 16 at the Manila Hotel.
