CLSU posts 65% passing in CPA board examination

CLSU achieved its highest passing rate so far 65.22% (15 passers out of 23 examinees) in the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Licensure Examination given by the Board of Accountancy last October 13, 14, 20 and 21. the national passing rate is 37% (2,299 passers out of 6,213 examinees)

The new accountants are as follows: Ma. Cindy D. Abrajano, Ryan Maximin L. Alberto, Jhoanna R. Alvarez, Emmanuel A. Bulaklak, Jr., Ricky A. Castro, Christian R. De Guzman, Jonathan J. Fabros, Jocelyn F. Fernando, Lady D. Ligon, Lannie P. Mangahas, Lita G. Nigos, Anne Katherine B. Pranada, James Allan V. Ramos, Victoria S. Santos and Hardee Allen V. Sayco.

The oath taking was held November 20 at the Plenary Hall of the Philippine International Convention Center.

A testimonial luncheon in honor of the passers will be sponsored by the College of Business Administration and Accountancy headed by Dean Danilo S. Castro on November 29.
