Dr. TM Aganon is 2004 UPLBCAA Distinguished Alumnus Awardee

Dr. Teotimo M. Aganon (BSA '75), director of CLSU Research Office added another feather to his cap when he was chosen as recipient of the University of the Philippines Los Baņos College of Agriculture Alumni Association's (UPLBCAA) 2004 Distinguished Alumnus Award for Research Administration and Management.

He was cited for his significant role in the packaging of technologies for various important economic crops, particularly in the formulation of recommendation for warehouse owners to combat large losses in palay at storage caused by rodents, and his active involvement in the development of control measures for locust infestations; his exemplary leadership in the establishment of three R & D centers in Central Luzon State University (CLSU) which greatly contributed to CLSU's research outputs in seed technology, small ruminants, and agricultural resource management, and his dedication as a teacher who guided the academic years of numerous BS and MS students.

The award was given during the UPLB's Loyalty Day held last October 10 at UPLB, College, Laguna.
