Dr. Rolando D. Dollete (BS '92, MS '95, PhD 2000), assistant principal of the University Science High School, was elected new president of the CLSU Faculty Association, Inc. (FAI) in the elections held last August 4 at the CLSU Auditorium.

Dr. Dollete automatically secured a seat in the CLSU Board of Regents as Faculty Representative. He took his oath of office a few days after his election.

He promised to focus on responsive and comprehensive health program for all faculty members, payment of fringe benefits and overload, systematic and feasible housing scheme, maximizing the participation of all units in the policy making concerns of the organization and work on the implementation of the Merit Promotion Scheme.
