USHS alumnus honored for 2nd Palanca grand prize

Amid rain showers and candlelight, they gathered together to honor someone who, they were certain could not come- Wilfredo O. Pascual, Jr.

For the love of a friend and for the love of words, the Pedro Bucaneg e-group spearheaded the tribute to this alumnus of the University Science High School who for the second time and had won his grand prize in the Don Palanca Memorial Awards for Literature (Essay Category).

Pascual's friends read his published poems and excerpts from his essays, and testified on their encounters with the write during the affair on September 30, 2007 at Prof. Ben Domingo, Jr.'s residence.
