Seeing his records, one may ask, ''Does this man still sleep?'' His headship and participation in various national organizations: Micro-hydro Association of the Philippines, Philippine Association of Renewable Energy Center, Inc., Philippine Solar Energy Society, Philippine Society of Agricultural Engineers, to name few of the most recent, is so extensive that he is regarded as national innovator of micro-hydro technology; substantive qualitative evaluation of policies, programs and projects on agricultural mechanization and renewable energy systems; life cycle cost approach of financial evaluation of agricultural and renewable energy projects; social and institutional aspects of agricultural mechanization and renewable energy systems; and technology transfer in agricultural mechanization and renewable energy systems. Similarly, he has been in and out of the country to attend numerous trainings and a consistent recipient of various scholarships, honors and awards since his school days.

Likewise, amazing is how one can describe his inclination to research. Indeed a pride to CLSU, he has already presented numerous papers and published countless research works.
