CLSU ranked 11 from among the 20 finalists during the 6th Inter-collegiate Finance Competition (ICFC), National Final Competition held last September 22 at the Jose P. Laurel Hall of Freedom, Lyceum of the Philippines.

The CLSU team was composed of five senior students of the College of Business Administration and Accountancy (CBAA) namely: Lilibeth M. Saludez, Francis Rhay C. Santos, Ruel B. Tolentino, Jr., Madonna J. Pico, and Rowell J. Rivera.

Seventy two schools participated in the regional eliminations held simultaneously at designated contest venues: Manila (Far Eastern University) for Luzon-NCR, Bacolod, Cebu, and Cagayan de Oro City.

More than 40 schools participated in the Luzon-NCR region, divided into 4 groups, each group composed of 10-12 schools CLSU was bracketed with DLSU-Taft Avenue and other exclusive schools in Metro Manila.
