SIX STOOD PASS THE CLSUAAI SCHOLARSHIP

A total of six new scholars was announced by the CLSU Alumni Association, Inc. (CLSUAAI) headed by Dr. Romeo S. Cabanilla, President and Board Chairman; and Dr. Teotimo M. Aganon, Chairman of Scholarship Committee as qualified recipients of the CLSUAAI Scholarship Assistance Program.

The six of seven applicants that satisfactorily met the requirements and passed the interview done on August 13, 2009 by the Association include Miguel Anthony A. Aguilar (BSEd2), Jasmin A. Asuncion (BSBA3), Jona T. Gutierrez (BSEd2), Pearl Anne C. Ramoso (BSIT3), Jonathan S. Ricoperto (BSCE2), and Allen M. Veloso (DVM5). The CLSUAAI will now have a total of thirteen scholars for this 1st semester school year 2009-2010.

The purpose of this scholarship program is to offer monetary assistance to financially handicapped but deserving students of CLSU. One thousand pesos allowance per month will be given to each of the scholars for the current semester and shall be valid up to the time of graduation provided that they satisfactorily meet the requirements and policies of the Association, including maintaining a grade point average (GPA) of 2.50 or better every semester.
