Veterinary Licensure Exam

Five fresh graduates of he College of Veterinary Science and Medicine landed in the Top 10 of the veterinary licensure examination given by the Professional Regulation Commission last August 4, 5 and 7.
The topnochers are Billy Andrew E. Samson, 2nd place; Joyce Camille D. Bamba, 4th place; Rommel L. Manlapig, 5th place; Edwin N. Oltiveros, 6th place; and Lirio B. Dayag, 9th place.
This is the first time that the CVSM produced five topnochers. It has four topnochers in 1987, 1999 and 2000.
According to Dr. Romeo Gundran, dean of the College of Veterinary Science and Medicine, CLSU obtained a passing rate of 52% making it the 3rd top performing school in the said exam this year.
The national passing rate is 32.8%.
